Steven Fazarri joined the Jerome Levy
Forecasting Center
as an academic advisor in 2007. As a professor of economics at Washington University
in St. Louis,
he is among the few economists in academia to incorporate the profits
perspective into his research and teaching. His primary areas of research
are the link between macroeconomic activity and finance, particularly the
financial determinants of investment spending, and the foundations of Keynesian
macroeconomics. Professor Fazarri received his Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University.
